Airborne confirmation
In testing
A signal on its own does not tell you whether there is a fire.
An aircraft flies to the location, looks with regular and heat-sensing cameras, and shows what is actually there — smoke, a hot spot, or nothing at all.

Information for responders
In development
By the time information reaches the people fighting the fire, it can already be old.
What the aircraft sees goes to the Operations Center and out to the people who need it, in a form they can act on quickly.
What comes after
Wildfire is where we started, not where we stop.
Search and rescue and wider disaster response are the problems we expect to take on next. They are intentions, not products — we will say so clearly when that changes.
